2005 was the year of Brazil in Paris, and the covered market, Carreau du Temple, was the venue for Brazilian festivities all summer long. The state of Amazonas put on a dazzling show one week in July, with a constant parade of half naked feather clad dancers gyrating ceaselessly to samba beats. It was dubious folklore, but a great show!
